To collect all 17 Metroid Prime 4 Beyond scan entries in the Volt Forge area, you need to explore all sub-regions:
- Landing Airlock – 1 scan entry.
- Showroom – 2 scan entries.
- Irradiation Floor – 1 scan entry.
- Manufacturing Floor – 1 scan entry.
- Collapsed Catwalk – 1 scan entry.
- Tower 1 Generator – 1 scan entry.
- Assembly Floor – 1 scan entry.
- Access Tunnel – 1 scan entry.
- Processing – 2 scan entries.
- Storage – 3 scan entries.
- Tower 2 Generator – 2 scan entries.
- Xelios.
Landing Airlock, Showroom, Irradiation Floor, Manufacturing Floor, Collapsed Catwalk, Tower 1 Generator, and Assembly Floor Metroid Prime 4 Beyond Scan Entries
The first set of collectibles can be found in areas such as; Landing Airlock, Showroom, Irradiation Floor, Manufacturing Floor, Collapsed Catwalk, Tower 1 Generator, and Assembly. Involving Denzard, Lamorn Neuro Bike Mark VII, Mecha Rat, Lamorn Magnetic Track, Grapple Node
Landing Airlock Scan Entry 1 – Denzard
After the introductory cutscene, you will arrive at the Landing Airlock. Take a few steps to notice the Denzard, a non-hostile creature.
Showroom Scan Entry 2 – Lamorn Neuro Bike Mark VII: Vi-O-La
Proceed and enter the Showroom, where you can scan the Vi-O-La.
Irradiation Floor Scan Entry 3 – Mecha Rat
Complete the story section and take the elevator to reach the Irradiation Floor. Notice the rat-like creatures and scan them.
Manufacturing Floor Scan Entry 4 – Lamorn Magnetic Track
You will reach the Manufacturing Floor after using Tower 1: Elevator 3. Look up and notice the beam. Scan it to obtain the Volt Forge Scan Entry Lamorn Magnetic Track.
Collapsed Catwalk Scan Entry 5 – Grapple Node
Go through the door on the left. After the floor collapses, look up to see the Grapple Node.
Tower 1 Generator Scan Entry 6 – Grapple Point
Return to Manufacturing and proceed to Tower Generator 1. Make a left and look up to see the Grapple Points.
Assembly Floor Scan Entry 7 – Maintenance Tank
Proceed with the main objective and restore power to the facility. Activate the manufacturing line and use the elevator to reach the Assembly Floor. After a short cutscene, the Maintenance Tank will attack you.
Showroom Scan Entry 8 – Scanner Drone
As you return to the Showroom as part of the main objective, you will bump into a Scanner Drone after getting off the elevator.
Access Tunnel, Processing, Storage, Tower 2 Generator, and Xelios Scan Entries in Volt Forge
In the Access Tunnel, Processing and Storage areas you can find the Flight Drone, Spinner, Psy-Bot Teleporter, Psychic Grapple Point
Access Tunnel Scan Entry 9 – Flight Drone
As you ride the Vi-O-La through the Access Tunnel, scan the Flight Drone.
Processing Scan Entry 10 – Spinner
Take the elevator down to the Processing area and scan the Spinner in the center of the room.
Storage Scan Entry 11 – Psy-Bot Teleporter
As you enter the Storage area, the Psy-Bot Teleporter will attack you.
Tower 2 Generator Scan Entry 12 – Flight Drone MCU
After the morph ball section, you will arrive at the Tower 2 Generator. As soon as the cutscene is over, the Flight Drone MCU attacks you.
Tower 2 Generator Scan Entry 13 – Psychic Boost Rail
Look around and notice the Psychic Boost Rail. These Technology scans are also found in the Tower 1 Generator area.
Storage Scan Entry 14 – Psy-Bot Shield
Move to the Storage area after the encounter with Sylux. A short cutscene introduces a new enemy, the Psy-Bot Shield.
Storage Scan Entry 15 – Psychic Grapple Point
After defeating the Psy-Bot Shield, look up and notice the Psychic Grapple Point.
Processing Scan Entry 16 – Lamorn Beam Turret
In the Processing area, you will notice a new Metroid Prime 4 Beyond scan object, the Lamorn Beam Turret.
Scan Entry 17 – Xelios
Scan the boss at the beginning of the fight to get the Volt Forge Scan Entry for Xelios.
