How to Enter the Silent Hill 2 Remake Wood Side Apartments

After having acquired Neely’s Bar Key, unlock the back room. Push the cart and climb the vent. Find the Back Room Letter and the location of a greenish-blue car will appear on your map. Go out and head there. Check the back of the bar for an HP drink in a red truck. The green car has another HP drink for you to grab.

Next to the car, you will see a pile of bloody clothes. Interact with it to obtain the Wood Side Apartments Key. Beware as three Lying Forms will attack you. Make your way to Wood Side Apartments avoiding or defeating the enemies as you go. Once you reach the apartment building, use the key and enter.

Silent Hill 2 Remake Wood Side Apartments Walkthrough – The Lobby Area

As you go inside Wood Side Apartments, continue straight and get the map from the board. Jump over the desk and retrieve some Handgun Ammo and the item wrapped in a cloth. You will need this item later for the Wood Side Apartments puzzle. Get out of this room and check under the stairs for an HP drink. You will also find the Administration Note. The storage room on the right side of the desk area has more Ammo. You will find the handgun later.

Explore the First and Second Floor

Go up the first floor to find more ammo. Make your way to the second floor and get inside Apartment 202. Get the flashlight. Defeat the Mannequin monster. Check the nightstand for the Chute Courtyard Key.

Now, go back to the first floor and unlock the courtyard. Move the laundry basket under the open window and climb it to reach Apartment 112. Grab the ammo and exit in the hallway. Defeat the Creeper and make your way to Apartment 109. After another encounter with a Mannequin monster, you can search the apartment for more ammo.

Where to Find the Golden Apple Handle

Go back to the hallway and attempt to get the key lying on the ground. Go back to the courtyard and the receptionist area. You can now explore the west part of the building. Two Lying Figures will get in your way, so be prepared for a fight.

Enter Apartment 102 and collect the HP drink from the bedroom. Go to the end of the hallway to acquire the 2F Hallway Key. In Apartment 107, you will find another HP drink. Now, go into Apartment 108. Interact with the wardrobe and get the Golden Apple Handle. Go to Apartment 106 and defeat the two Creepers. Get the ammo from the living room.

Find the hole in the wall in Apartment 203. Go through it to reach Apartment 207. Search it for more ammo. The gun is in the shopping cart in the living room.

Go back to Apartment 203 and observe the changes. Grab the Apartment 212 Key from the table. Go to Apartment 212 and collect the HP drink from the kitchen. Go out on the balcony and make a left. A Mannequin is waiting in the next room. Two Lying Figures are in the hallway. Search Apartment 207 for more ammo.

Go to Apartment 208 and find the wardrobe. Use the Golden Apple Handle and discover the small hole looking into the next room. Push the wardrobe and enter this room. After you complete the Wood Side Apartments Puzzle, you obtain the Apartment 201 Key. Go there, grab the Handkerchief, and go after one of the most iconic and terrifying Silent Hill characters to advance to the next part.
