In Clair Obscur Expedition 33, there are several optional enemies you can find and defeat, this includes Mimes. Which, needless to say, are rather creepy looking. Our first chance and opportunity to find one is the Prologue Mime!
Unlike most enemies and foes you encounter during Clair Obscur Expedition 33, these specific threats require a different method in defeating them, a more, unique and different strategy. Which requires more than just your standard basic attacks.
Read on to learn how to find the Prologue Mime and how to fight and defeat it. Doing so will reward us with the Lumiere music record that can be used at camps.
How to Find The Prologue Mime In Clair Obscur Expedition 33

The first mime you can find in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is during the Prologue, it is actually missable due to it being in a rather hidden and out of the way area.
However, in order to be able to find it you will need to walk down the steps towards the harbor, whilst Sophie is still with you. Just before the cinematic scene involving her. From there, turn and head right, you should see some people performing on a stage as pictured above.
Stand at the stage, look to your right and the Mime will be standing in the corner. All you need to do is approach it which is when the fight will start.
How to Fight And Defeat the Mime – Obtain The Lumiere music

Now that you know where it is, you need to figure out how to fight them. You cannot simply attack and fight them like you would a normal enemy target. Instead they require a special and, more, unique approach.
The best way to defeat the Mime is to focus on filling up Gustave’s Overcharge gauge. Do this from the start so you can deal break damage, which will, in turn, stun the mime. We can do this by simply attacking as normal, just don’t expect to deal any real significant damage. However, this does build up AP, which is needed in order to execute the Overcharge. Also make sure you’re dodging and parrying as best you can. Just to help increase your chances of survival more than anything.
Once you have managed to rack up enough AP, use your Overcharge ability to help break the mime, it will take a lot more damage. Filling up the break meters requires using skills rather than standard attacks. With the mime stunned, you’ll want to use the abilities that will cause the most amount of damage. The best time to defeat, after all, is when it is stunned. It’s actually the only time it will take any real damage.
What happens once you have managed to defeat it? Well, rewards of course! The reward for defeating this Mime during the prologue is the Lumiere Music Record and the A Peculiar Encounter trophy achievement
