How to Get the Subnautica 2 Rebreather
To craft the Rebreather, you must first find and scan one. Then, you must gather the necessary materials to craft its components.
How to Unlock the Rebreather Blueprint
Luckily, you need to scan only one Rebreather to register the blueprint. There are at least four locations where you can find one.
Location 1
From the Lifepod, head southwest and continue until you reach the rock formation with the hanging debris. Dive deeper and you will spot the entrance to the Colonist Bunker. The Rebreather is on top of a crate to the right.
Location 2
From the Lifepod, head southeast and travel for 320 meters. Dive for about 40 meters and you will spot a debris field and the Subnautica 2 Rebreather inside an open crate.
Location 3
You will need the Repair Tool to access this location. From the Lifepod, head northeast and travel for 340 meters until you reach the wreck. Enter through the opening under the wreck and use the Repair Tool to fix the door. The Rebreather is in the second room to the right.
Location 4
From the Lifepod, head east and travel for 500 meters until you reach the shipwreck. Go through the hole in the floor and find the Rebreather inside the open container.
Once you have the Rebreather blueprint, you can craft your very own using a Fabricator. The necessary materials are:
- Fiber Mesh x 2.
- System Chip x 1.
To craft Fiber Mesh, you need Fibrous Pulp and Strong Acid. Fibrous Pulp is harvested from plants. Strong Acid is made from Necrolei Cysts or Sulfur and Gold. To craft the System Chip, you need one Wiring Kit and Quartz. For the Wiring Kit, you must collect Silver and Copper.
