How to Unlock All Ys the Oath in Felghana Missable Trophies

The game has nine missable trophies:

Never Smelled the Roses.
Oblivious or Insensitive.
That’s the Last Time Kid.

Tastes Like Chicken.
Hardt Laid Bare.

Never Smelled the Roses

Requirement: Complete the game in less than five hours.

You can unlock this achievement by playing on Very Easy difficulty. Don’t forget that this is essentially a speedrun, so don’t waste time on side quests or anything unrelated to the main story. Also, skip cutscenes and dialogues whenever possible. It seems hard but once you know the game, completing the story in under five hours is not at all difficult. The achievement is unlocked after the end credits.

Oblivious or Insensitive

Requirement: Sell Randolph’s Ring to Cynthia.

This achievement is tied to a side quest that becomes unavailable after completing the Elderm Mountains. You must acquire the ring and, instead of returning it to the quest giver, sell it to Cynthia, the shopkeeper in Redmont Town. This is part of the Oblivious or Insensitive achievement

That’s the Last Time Kid

Requirement: Complete the side quest Finding Christof on every difficulty level.

The achievement is missable because the side quest Finding Christof becomes unavailable after you complete the Abandoned Mine. To get the achievement, you need to find and escort Christof on all difficulty levels. You can start the quest after completing the Zone of Lava. That’s early in the game, so you don’t have to progress too much for this trophy.

Forever Alone

Requirement: Complete the side quest Finding Elena on every difficulty level.

This is another achievement related to a missable side quest. You can start the side task Finding Elena after you complete the Abandoned Mine. The catch is that the quest expires once you finish the Elderm Mountains. Simply complete the quest on each difficulty level and you will unlock the trophy.

Ys the Oath in Felghana Missable Trophies – Legacy Pervert

Requirement: Measure Elena.

This is one funny and easy achievement you can unlock while completing the side quest Finding Elena. When you reach the fast travel point near the Redmont Town bridge, stop and run into Elena to push her into the Travel Monument. If this is your first Ys game you can easily miss this trophy. Veterans might remember similar in-game actions from previous Ys games.

Proficient Plunderer

Requirement: Complete Anya’s Treasure Hunt.

You can complete the related side quest after finishing the Abandoned Mine, but not after completing the Elderm Mountains. Interact with Anya in Redmont Town and find all the stashes to get the Raval Ore and your trophy.

Social Butterfly

Requirement: Talk to all game characters at least once.

To get this trophy, you must interact with all 32 characters and listen to their dialogue. You will come across most of them while working on the main story, but several, such as Christof and his family, are tied to missable side quests. This is part of the Social Butterfly achievement

Ys the Oath in Felghana Missable Trophies – Tastes Like Chicken

Requirement: Defeat the Deadliest Cuteness.

You can miss this trophy as the Deadliest Cuteness boss is only available after completing the game on the Inferno difficulty level. After you defeat the last boss on Inferno, watch the end game credits, and the Deadliest Cuteness boss will appear. It’s a tough fight, so prepare for a challenge.

Hardt Laid Bare

Requirement: Defeat Berhardt.

To unlock the fight against Berhardt you need to beat Boss Rush on Nightmare difficulty. The fight starts immediately after. You cannot access the secret boss directly and that’s what makes this achievement a pain. Berhardt puts up a challenging fight as well.
