Fast Travel is a Ys the Oath in Felghana game mechanic that allows you to teleport from one place to another. Let’s see what you must do to unlock this feature!
How Fast Travel Works in Ys the Oath in Felghana
Fast travel is unavailable when you start the game. You must complete a few tasks and collect an item to warp between Travel Monuments. These also work as checkpoints where you can save your game progress. In the beginning, Travel Monuments are just save points. When you reach a monument, you will also replenish HP and mana, so feel free to use them even if you don’t need to make a save.
Travel Monuments become fast travel points after you acquire the Wing Talisman.
How to Unlock Ys the Oath in Felghana Fast Travel
The Wing Talisman is an item obtained from Elena. The good news is that this is part of the main story, so you won’t miss it. The bad news is that you will have to play through the first area and complete a dungeon before unlocking fast travel.
Tigray Quarry
The Tigray Quarry is the first game area. While not that big, it has many enemies to defeat and two bosses. Dularn, the first boss, will test your battle skills. Ellefale, the last boss, poses a serious threat. It is recommended that you make the most of your time here and farm XP. You cannot fast travel yet, so you will have to defeat the enemies a few times as you go back and forth.
Zone of Lava
Zone of Lava is a dungeon. It is a big place and you can easily get lost while exploring it. On top of that, the bosses here are much more difficult than the ones in the Tigray Quarry. Once you enter the Zone of Lava, you cannot go back to Redmont Town, so make sure to get the best equipment you can find.
Get the Wing Talisman from Elena
After you are done with the Tigray Quarry and the Zone of Lava, go back to Redmont Town. Elena’s house is locked, so don’t bother going there. Instead, leave the settlement and go to the Travel Monument nearby to trigger the cutscene with Elena. She will give you the Wing Talisman, unlocking fast travel.
How to Use the Wing Talisman to Fast Travel
After you get the Wing Talisman, all activated Travel Monuments become fast travel points you can teleport to any time you want. Open the Item tab in the main Menu and interact with the Wing Talisman.
Click Yes when prompted to open the map and see all the unlocked Travel Monuments. Select the one you want and instantly reach the place. Fast travel is a handy option that will save you a lot of time when exploring the map and completing side quests.
